Stop this crazy whirligig of fun - I'm dizzy.
Apartment Girl says it so much better than I could. "Just.... STOP TURNING.... for five minutes!!!"
I think many women - hell, probably many men too - go through a process of reflection in their twenties that largely concerns the questions:
- Is this where I thought I'd be at this point in my life?
- How can I make a difference?
and - What do I want to be when I grow up?! (even if you've graduated and have a job!)
Update: A couple of posts in a similar vein from The View From Crazy - Are We Ever Happy? and The Sun Also Rises
Update: Got the quote in the post's title wrong. Damn.
Fixed now. Does anyone know what it's from?

Don't worry. You'll get used to it... as that process of reflection continues on into your 30s...
Sigh.
So you're saying it never ends?
Oh goody.
damn folks it realy never ends...
best regards from germany...mhhmm same probs over here LOL
That's exactly what he's saying. I've got the "what I want to be when I grow up", but I don't think the reflecting ends, maybe just changes topic once in a while. We'd get bored otherwise.
My "Himself" is in his 50s, he's still trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up;)
Well, at least we know we're not alone! (There's a plus side to everything. ;)
