Random things of interest...
Obviously I have varied interests!
- Over 25,000 comments thanking Stephen Colbert for his speech at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. And that's just since April 30th!
- Exercise your eyes (good for those of us who spend our days at a computer)
- Have you lost the manual for your TV, stereo, printer, microwave, air conditioner, or something else? Check to see if en electronic version is available on this site.
- According to Toronto transit signs, Stephen Harper eats babies. It's rude, but it's funny! I especially love this quote: When asked about his time with Harper at the National Citizens Coalition, [Gerry] Nicholls said: "I worked with Stephen Harper for five years and never once did he, in that time, eat a baby."
- 11 straight days of festivals and entertainment in St. John's Newfoundland, July 27th - August 6th. Wish I could be there!!!
- Largest solar park in the world opens in Germany (via Treehugger)
Activities to stimulate your brain (click here for more ideas and elaboration on the points below):
- Stimulate your ears differently - listen to music you wouldn't normally listen to.
- Learn about different people and lifestyles.
- Walk backwards through your whole house.
- Learn to juggle.
- Attend churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, trade union meetings, places of worship and meditation that you never have.
- Face your fears!
- Try things that push the limits of your comfort zone.
- Travel!

I've already learned to juggle, and listen to bad music.
lol - good for you! Depending on who you talk to, I may listen to good or bad music, but I never could get the hang of juggling.
